These sensory connections can be rational or irrational. In this video, the character’s personal inner vision is triggered by the sound and sight.

The sound of making a cup of coffee is so rich: the sound of grinding coffee beans, the sound of metal colliding, the sound of turbines working, etc. The character’s visual and auditory senses are interconnected. This kind of sensory connection is synesthesia. The sound of grinding the beans and the sight of the circles combine together to become blue rings spinning at high speed. When hearing collisions, the character sees a ball hit the ground. The sound of the turbine makes her see a submarine. While making a cup of coffee, she also watched the animation of making coffee with her inner vision.
